Why Software Makes the Difference

When we talk about electronic rope balancers at LIFTKON, we are not just talking about mechanics, load capacity or overall dimensions. Above all, we are talking about software.
Because this is exactly where it is decided how well a balancer integrates into a real working process – or whether it does at all.
From Standard Application to Fully Integrated Process Solution
Our portfolio includes electronic rope balancers for both straightforward and highly complex applications. In practice, we therefore distinguish between two types of use: the standard application and the customised special application.
For standard applications, the integrated basic programming is entirely sufficient. Functions such as adjustable speed, weight detection and programmable lifting heights reliably cover typical handling processes.
When an application becomes more complex – for example due to specific movement requirements, process-specific sequences, the use of a load handling attachment, or the integration of signals from a production line into the balancer control system – individually developed custom software comes into play. It is precisely tailored to the respective application, ensuring that even demanding and highly complex handling tasks can be carried out safely, quickly and efficiently.
The Standard Application – Flexible Nonetheless
All our devices already include comprehensive basic programming. This includes functions such as:
Adjustable speeds
Weight detection
Programmable heights
Various movement modes
The individual fine-tuning of parameters can be carried out quickly and flexibly during commissioning – and adjusted later if required – in order to achieve an optimal handling process.
The Individual Solution – Designed from the Outset
Our electronic rope balancers are not programmed “off the shelf”.
The software can be adapted precisely to specific requirements.
The challenge lies in quickly understanding working processes and just as quickly developing a cost-effective, tailor-made solution.
This includes:
Customised control logic
Defined movement sequences
Application-specific parameters
Integration into existing processes
Combination with a load handling attachment
Linking the customer’s control system with the rope balancer control
The objective is not simply a device that works – but a balancer that integrates seamlessly into the working process.
When done correctly, the process becomes:
More ergonomic
More efficient
More reproducible
And ultimately more economical
Before such projects begin, our experts come into play. Together with our customers, they analyse the application and develop a customised software solution that makes sophisticated handling technology safe, fast and effective.

Software Makes the Difference
Mechanics do the lifting. But software determines how intelligently it is done.
Especially in complex applications, the real difference becomes clear: only well-designed, individually tailored programming turns a good device into a seamlessly integrated solution.
With the right control system, a balancer becomes a fully integrated process system. Movements become reproducible, speeds clearly defined, heights approached automatically. Safety functions are not triggered by chance, but systematically.
Particularly in more complex applications, it is essential that operators can work intuitively, processes remain stable, and workflows are based on clearly defined parameters.
The result: greater process reliability and efficiency.
